7th June at Circuit Park Zandvoort Rolt

Westfield Racing pictures from the weekend of 7th June at Circuit Park Zandvoort Rolt . A fantastic race which ended up in an almighty mid air spin with the driver, Louis Hutzezon, walking away unharmed. This clearly demonstrates to everyone just how strong the Westfield Chassis really is, the car most likely could have driven away, if it were not for the fact it came to rest in deep gravel. whilst motorsport is a danager sport, the safty built into the Westfield cars are very much a key feature of the cars design.

MAY 2009 NEWS

Super Club Thailand Rounds 3 and 4 23rd/24th May 2009

Rounds 3 and 4 competing with our Westfield Sport 2000 in the RWD Superclub Thailand Series. No first place podium finishes for us this weekend but we did finish 2nd in round 3 on Saturday's 10 lap race, Sunday's round 4 race was a great battle, we finished 3rd over all despite starting in pole position, we lost our placing in the first half lap involved in some hellish overtaking on a very tricky fast part of the track causing us to drop back to around 6th place. I pushed hard and made it up to 3rd position within a few laps, infront was the Falken team Nissan Skyline R32 being well driven, he was not going to let me passed very easily, I could not quite make it past him due to his big power on the straights, corner speed was our advantage, but his normal driving skills are put to Pro A class Thailand Drifting series, so was using up pretty much all of the track power sliding out of the bends in true rear wheel drive fashion, i wish i had my onboard camera rigged up, it was great viewing! he made no errors but i was able to stay with him all the way!. Our car drove well a faultless drive and thanks to new Achilles rubber holding us firmly on the track!, we can't wait till the next rounds 5 and 6 on the 15th and 16th August for more great action.

I was very pleased with the cars overall performance, especially up against some very powerful purpose built track beasts running up to 600hp under the bonnet, I was pleased to make pole position for both saturday and sundays race setting fastest qualifying times of the day during saturdays qualifying heat. what helped us achieve this, was our first time outing on new rubber sponsored by Achilles using their 123 range motorsport soft compound tyre, a huge improvement over our standard Avon Z3 road going tyres as previously used, our lap times dropped from 1.18s to low 1.13's, expect this to reduce further very shortly with further development of the car.

MunMaak Coast to Coast Rally: Team Black catches up with Team Westfield

MunMaak 9th May 2009 Rally "Nitto Coast to Coast rally 2009"

Come and see us take part in Thailand's 1st MunMaak Rally, its a 1 day event, a sort of Gumball 5 star motoring experience, we do not know what to expect really, but we are sure its going to be a great weekend with some fabulous cars taking part and interesting people to chat too, we travel to Hua Hin on the 8th May, then leave Hua Hin the start of the rally on the 9th, first cars away at 9.30am, with the first stop off in Bangkok at the intercontential Hotel, then on to Pattaya Hard Rock Hotel for the finish line incorporating a check point along the way at Chonburi Shell services.

Super Club Thailand Rounds 1 and 2 7th/8th March 2009
